2. Additional Counterfoil / Voucher Fee:

An ATA Carnet contains Counterfoil / Voucher Sheets. The top section of one of these sheets is the counterfoil and the bottom section is the voucher. Sheets are issued in sets. A yellow set is for leaving or re-entering the United States. A white set is for entering or exiting a foreign country. A blue set (transit) is for passing through or stopping over in one country in order to enter another.

The total number of sets in an ATA Carnet will vary with the number of the countries to be visited or transited, as well as by the number of U.S. exits and returns. A full set of counterfoil / vouchers must be issued for every country the merchandise may transit and for each exit and re-entry into the U.S., and for each transit. Additional sets of counterfoil / voucher forms are supplied, without limit, at the rate of $ 5.00 per set ($ 20.00 minimum). An ATA Carnet isued with less than eight sets will still be subject to the above charge if additional sets are requested at a later date.

3) Additional Continuation Sheets (General List Pages) Fee:

The Basic Fee above also includes one General List page. There is a charge of $ 5.00 for each additional Continuation Sheet returned for processing.

4) Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) Fee:

Shipments over $ 2,500.00 in value will require completion of a U.S. Department of Commerce Shipper's Export Declaration (Form 7525V) prior to departure from the United States. Labay/Summers can provide the completed form free of charge if we are also arranging the ATA Carnet security requirement (ATA Carnet bond).

All ATA Carnet applications must be accompanied by security.

The security is usually in the form of a surety bond and can be provided by Labay/Summers. The details are provided in the next segment (below) of the Labay/Summers ATA CARNET INFOBANK under "What is security?".
