We have moved explosives from a remote warehouse in ALASKA to a drilling platform in NIGERIA, while moving 84 containers of frozen food products from ARGENTINA to VIETNAM. We have moved yatchs from one side of the world to the other, while moving schedule-sensitive symphony orchestras, opera productions and ballet companies on EXTENSIVE INTERNATIONAL TOURS.
Our staff has handled the project movement of mining equipment (194 truckloads) from a point in EUROPE to the middle of the UNITED STATES, while moving three 747 charters of medical equipment from the middle of the UNITED STATES to the middle of AFRICA.
There was also the time we handled the five emergency 747 air charters of food, blankets and generators from the UNITED STATES to a hurricane-ravaged LATIN AMERICAN country, while also handling ALL of the arrangements for movie sets moving from HOLLYWOOD to a very remote point in the FAR EAST. We also remember the time we moved extremely schedule-sensitive oilwell drilling equipment simultaneously from three continents to INDONESIA, while moving two oil drilling rigs from the FAR EAST to the U.S. GULF.

We have listed some of the unusual business handled by Labay/Summers over the years. A majority of our business, however, is the regular air cargo and sea freight moving TO AND FROM POINTS WORLDWIDE each and every day. A shipment may be a 550 lb. air cargo shipment of machine parts or a 2,500 lb. LCL sea freight shipment of toys or a 40' container of air conditioners. Those shipments receive the same professional treatment as the so-called unusual shipments.
We move them to WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE and WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. They don't have to be unusual or project level to receive special treatment from us. ALL shipments are IMPORTANT to us and they ALL receive special treatment.
Name the COMMODITY or CARGO CATEGORY and the COUNTRY and there is an excellent possibility we have handled it at some point along the way OVER THE LAST QUARTER CENTURY.
Every step of the way ..........
we fully dedicate ourselves to protecting the interests of our clients. We negotiate the best rates available in local and world markets for every phase of the transport. We prepare and issue documents with the interests of our clients in mind at all times. We remain fully vigilant of the needs of all parties involved in transactions. Our staff remains constantly aware of delivery and performance deadlines and all other contractual requirements.
We are ALWAYS AWARE OF THE FACT the consignee is usually the customer of our customer. We REPRESENT OUR CLIENTS and we take it seriously.
